The Movie Channel (25)
KCTV is continually looking at ways to improve our programming content for our viewers.
In this quest we also think about our advertisers needs too allowing their businesses to gain maximum audience exposure.
It became clear that blockbuster movies are the most popular viewing programs for most people when on holiday, and although we already have two dedicated movie channels (channel 1 & channel 2) comments were made to us that there was a desire for different movies than those being presented by the other channels.
So, we decided to dedicate channel 25 as a premium movie channel with the inclusion of local TV advertising. Hence KCTV now has three movie channels with one available to advertise on.
Channel 25 is different to the others, as we select premium box office blockbuster movies. In addition to this we offer for the first time advertising breaks between the movies.
This is a great innovation and everybody wins, lets explain how it works.
We select quality late release movies and run them at 30 minute lengths with a five minute commercial break in between.
This satisfies viewers who get annoyed by too many commercial breaks, and satisfies the advertiser who is confident in the knowledge that his or her commercial is being seen by the biggest viewing audience on Koh Chang.
Consider this to be the equivalent of “Prime Time TV” overseas
As outlined on the Shopping Channel page every advertiser’s commercial also gets aired on The Shopping Channel (Channel 25) at a much higher rotation (about 40 times a day) and is being viewed by people who really want to see what businesses, services and products are available on the Island, and where they are located.
Successful businesses around the world big and small, advertise on Television because it creates awareness of their product and location which generates more business over time.
Television advertising is an investment into your business, and that’s why every successful commercial enterprise worldwide allocates a substantial yearly budget to TV advertising.
It is a statistical fact that TV ads work better and harder than any other form of advertising available
